Nice clean comfortable buses and helpful friendly drivers - but very overpriced! £5.50 EACH!! More expensive than York - and York is lovely. We noticed that the car park was hardly used and this price explains it. I thought park and rides were to encourage people not to park in city centres but if we come again we most definitely will park in the city as it is cheaper. Bonkers.
Car park full of litter, taps in the toilet sinks are like a jet wash lance and nearly blow your hands off and they run a special Hull Fair Park and Ride that doesn't actually operate to suit the hours that the fair is open and Stagecoach are so tight and awkward that day saver tickets purchased to visit the Fair aren't even valid on the later buses from the Fair back to the Park and Ride site? It's just stupid, considering that the Council, Fair and residents groups all want visitors to the Fair to use public transport to get there. Hardly accomodating us at Park and Ride are they?
Waited for bus 20 from the Hull infirmary bus stop to go back to the park and ride for over 1 hr and no bus came. The 16:14 bus didn't come and the 16:44 bus didn't show up by the time I left( by taxi as I was running late). Obviously ended up spending more. Never again
Saves the hassle of driving in to the centre of Hull and paying for a parking spot. Hull traffic as of now (2025) is horrendous thanks to all the roadworks going on in every direction at the same time.
Useful place to park and ride - access roads often congested. Not sure this is best place to encourage people to leave their cars.
