Welcome to Yorkshire
News • October 20th, 2024
|Ever wondered what really goes on on a working farm, the highs and lows, and all the bits that never make it to your telly screen? Well, RTS Yorkshire is giving you the chance to find out!
On October 23rd, fans of Channel 5’s This Week on the Farm are in for a treat. Some of the show’s biggest stars will be at the Carriageworks Theatre in Leeds for An Evening on the Farm.

What’s on?
This is a special night for “On the Farm” fans. Hosted by Christa Ackroyd, the evening will feature presenters Jules Hudson, Helen Skelton and the famous farming duo Rob and Dave Nicholson from Cannon Hall Farm. There will be exclusive, never seen before clips from the series, plus a behind the scenes look at how TV magic is made.
But it’s not all about what’s already been on the telly. You’ll also get a first look at the new Winter on the Farm series which is coming to Channel 5 in December. Be one of the first to know!
Why Leeds?
Leeds is a city that knows how to host a good night out and this is just another one to add to the list. The Carriageworks Theatre is right in the middle of the city centre so it’s the perfect intimate setting for a Q&A. Whether you’re a city dweller or a country bumpkin, Leeds is easy to get to for everyone who wants to come along.
Meet the TV farmers
This isn’t a normal Q&A. You’ll get to see Jules Hudson and Helen Skelton, two of the most well known faces in UK farming TV. And who can forget Rob and Dave Nicholson? The brothers from Cannon Hall Farm have built a following with their hands on approach and lovely personalities. If you’ve ever wondered about the weird and wonderful of farm life or what really goes on when the cameras stop rolling, this is your chance to ask.
What’s next?
One of the highlights of the evening will be the Winter on the Farm preview. If you love the seasonal specials you won’t want to miss this. Yorkshire may be cold but the warmth of the farm stories will come through. You can almost smell the hay and feel the frost in the air.
