Christmas has officially started at Trinity Leeds with the unveiling of a whopping 12-metre Christmas tree, now the biggest in Leeds. With bespoke light tubes and star-topped, the tree is already the centrepiece of the centre’s glass atrium and the perfect spot to start your Christmas shopping.

A show like no other

Trinity Leeds has gone all out this year with loads of new festive decorations. Here’s what’s lit:

  • 500m of branch lights to warm up the branches.
  • 300m of light curtains to add some sparkle across the centre.
  • Over 500 gold and silver stars scattered around for extra magic.
  • An illuminated shooting star at the Briggate entrance to get you in the mood from the off.

The spark behind the sparkle

Trinity Leeds Centre Director, Steven Foster, is over the moon with the festive makeover.

“Christmas has started,”

he said.

“And we can’t wait for our guests to see this new look over the Christmas period.”

The 12-metre tree under the glass atrium is the perfect holiday backdrop for shoppers as they get their Christmas shopping underway.

Foster added:

“The teams have been working through the night for the past week to get everything just right.”

Every detail has been considered and the centre is now a winter wonderland.

Gift wrapping and more

As well as the decorations, Trinity Leeds are offering gift wrapping at their Guest Services desk from December 10th to 24th so guests can get their presents wrapped with a flourish.
