A lovely place for a short stroll through the fabulous Londesborough estate, near Pocklington. Enjoy the countryside, wildlife and stunning architecture on the walk. Unfortunately, the old hall is no longer with us as it was demolished in the 1810's but the remaining building on site are fabulous examples of period architecture. The walk allows you to take in the amazing scenery and wildlife in the form of cattle and other farming stock that make up the modern livestock. There are woodlands, streams and two lakes to explore with the family at the same time.

A lovely flat stroll along the canal to the Humber Estuary that will help you relax and take in the heritage of the Victorian era. This is pretty unique canal and is a real haven for fish and you will be able to see many swimming around if you keep your eyes peeled or at least look out for the local anglers. When you reach the estuary you'll have lovely views of Whitton island in the river.
