Thank you so much for this amazing gym! All the equipment is modern and varied! It's spotlessly clean, and the staff are fantastic, especially the manager, David, who is dedicated to serving membership and helping them with everything. He's always smiling and welcoming, and he takes great care of the staff and the gym! Thank you so much to David for always being there for us and for everything he does!
Been going to the gym for 4 years and used JD gyms for the majority. I came to the area for work and found this gym through Google. Genuinely the worst gym I have ever stepped foot it. Smelt awful, weights everywhere, machines were really close together and have seen much better days. For the first time ever I got up and left to go to another gym instead. Avoid avoid avoid, don’t waste your time.
Lack of machines.. out of at least 15 different jd gyms ive visited. This is the worst. Machines too close.. weights everywhere. And very litle gym eticate from fellow users
I haven't been here before it was renovated, but this gym is fairly good. The layout is quite good, and at the times I've been (midday) I have yet to have to wait for equipment. So far, most people there seem to be regulars and theres a sense of community. The machines, like the other JD gyms (Stockton North / South) I've been to are Matrix, Hammer Strength, Concept, e.t.c. with free weights from Eleiko and Hammer Strength. They are so far clean, with equipment wipes nearby. Way less busy and crowded than Stockton South but less spacious than Stockton North. Even compared to my home country, Sweden, this gym is good, if a bit pricier (strangely enough).
Probably the best gym I’ve been too in Middlesbrough loads of equipment and good for anyone who’s local staff are friendly especially Connor and Owen always sound
