All I would like to say is that this is the best Costa bar none. i Visit quite a few costas, in crown point which is always untidy and looks run down, the one in birstall again quite small but not very clean. I visit during my lunch hour from work, some evenings maybe three or four times a week I visit and the place is very very clean, I went there this morning 24/1/26. And it was as always impeccably clean, the floor was immaculate the baby chairs stacked up neatly on the side tables very clean, the atmosphere absolutely brilliant the moment I walked in I was greeted by a smile from chandar, do I believe is the manager every time I go in he is always full of happiness and greets every customer with a smile if he takes pride in his work as you can see he is very proud, Chandar, Chatur and Anamika. Chatur and Anamika.. always take their time to ask how I am and strike up a nice conversation if it's quiet, nothing is ever too much for either of them, very hard and do a very good job. I'm always greeted with a smile always know what my drink is always have it ready the staff are second to none and take pride in their appearance and also the appearance of the store what more could you want?. This has to be the best Costa bar none. The staff are excellent, they run this store with military style precision. Always keeping the floors clean, always ensuring the toilet area is clean. I cannot fault the team I cannot fault the staff, keep up the good work guys you are doing a very very good job and in my opinion you are the best costa here I Leeds.

Love my visits to this Costa, as the staff really are top-notch and very friendly; I’m a fairly frequent patron and always enjoy my coffee and an occasional slice. Cleanliness is important to me and I feel staff do a very good (and often challenging) job of keeping tables and chairs clean, given that crumbs and spills are to be expected - I’ve even had them mopping around my feet which goes to show how diligent they try to be (or is it just me?). They always ask first of course and I’m often very impressed with the effort they all put in - well done I say!! I have seen cups and trays left on tables as well, but to my mind it’s not neglect but rather a reflection of how busy the are and the high footfall - never once have staff not removed everything when asked - can’t say fairer than that. Drinks are always lovely and asking for any variations seems to be accommodated from what I’ve seen - they even have a binder with detailed ingredients for figuring out if a particular drink has allergens; I cannot commend them highly enough for this, as it’s something that is and should be taken very seriously by all food and drink establishments. The toilets are clean and tidy and I often see staff checking them so I presume they’re maintained throughout the day - one interesting observation is that no matter where you’re sitting, you are likely to hear the hand dryers when in use - this isn’t to say the noise is disturbing, but merely to point out that it is obvious if/when customers have used them. Now I accept that people may wash their hands and then dry them using tissue, but my guess is that some people (far too many) aren’t washing their hands at all after using the loo - not a pleasant thought, but the fact is people can be most insalubrious. Please let me mention some staff members by name, as I feel they deserve to be highlighted for their affable disposition and professionalism. Nathan is the top-man in my humble opinion - always willing to share a pleasant word (or ten!) and not afraid to tell it like it is, with good grace and humour - lovely chap! And if there’s a drink he can’t make, it’s not worth having - an artist after my own heart. Shrearam (I hope I’ve spelled his name correctly) is another of my favourites - he always attends to the details and will go out of his way to check everything is OK; he loves talking to the regulars too and that makes it a much more personal (not just transactional) experience. I value that highly - it’s meaningful. But, I l’ve heard Shrearam is returning to India - I will miss you young man, as will so many others. The ladies are a class act of course; Sian and Anamikka (sorry about my spelling) are just wonderful - I think they run the show, but the gents don’t realise it. Beauty and brains (am I allowed to say that in this day and age?) - what more could you want. Well, I won’t go on as this has turned into an essay, but I could wax lyrical about how much my visits to this coffee shop mean to me; great coffee and lovely staff - absolutely priceless!

Great Experience at Costa Coffee! I had a wonderful time at Costa Coffee. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent. A special thanks to Shirin, who served us with a big smile and a kind attitude. She was very friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her positive energy made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for great coffee and amazing customer service!

Maybe it's the time I've been, but I tend to go here after 6pm. The staff always seem miserable. I get it, long day, but no need to almost murder the utensils to make me a brew. Never welcoming atmosphere at this time either, areas cordoned off, mop bucket out like you want to close before your closing time. Tonight I got offered paper cups and a bag, all out of proper cups apparently, or could you just not be bothered to clean up after?
