I have never in my life experienced such rude awful staff in any place I’ve ever been, the girl with the green/blue ends on her hair and the manager are so rude and abrupt and never have a smile on their faces. Completely put me off going back. The manager asked me and my friends to move tables as we were apparently blocking the walk way when you could have easily fit an 8 foot wide pram through, embarrassing.
Absolutely appalling customer service, i requested a small hot chocolate to take out and the woman with the blue/green hair was ridiculously rude and impolite, she kept asking me which drink i need to buy even though a hot chocolate is a legit drink. She made it very awkward and her communication skills were dreadful. She needs to learn to be humble. Do not recommend at all, stop buying overpriced hot beverages.
New Year's Day trip to Redcar beach. No cafes near the beach were open so we found the new costa coffee in the precinct. Absolutely lovely place, great choice of cakes and very friendly service. Thank you so much.
We ordered a large and medium cappuccino and we were disappointed with the service, quality of coffee and the employees attitude. One of the lady staff tried close the Cafe by 5pm and two customers who reached at 5.15 were turned down by the staff saying there are short staffed while in fact there were enough staff. Coming to our coffee ,the coffee tasted very bad,the milk wasn't creamy and frothy. Never Coming back here. The only good thing was ambience.
Straight at the door I was interrogated by worker what I'm going to drink, eat etc... Didn't even get a chance to sit take my coat down and think what I'm gonna order. It Make me feel unwelcome.
