Nuns Close Car Park

Parking for a week was easy to use. You have to download the app called RingGo it’s a pink one on the App Store well is at the time when we downloaded it. This is easy to use as well to get the correct car park and use my online banking to pay for the ticket. You can also use the machine for a weekly pass but you will need change (no note or card machine) Plenty of spaces in the car park including electric points to charge your car.

It feels a bit unusual to leave a review for a car park, but here we are. I was only in the area briefly, stopping for dinner before heading out of Richmond. It's a charming town with a good variety of restaurants to choose from. The car park itself is convenient, offering plenty of spaces and accepting both card and cash payments. Free parking after 6 PM is a nice bonus, so there’s not much more you could ask for. It's also just a short walk from the town center. Would come back to Richmond at some point to visit properly, but I'm only passing through.

Cash only? We parked right next to the meters, couldn't see any others near by. Absolutely ridiculous. Richmond has some interesting historical sites, but do the car parks really need to STILL be in the dark ages. Highly recommend doing extensive research on parking before you visit.

Richmond really doesn't want international tourism based upon 3 car parks which are cash only, or the Ring Go app which isn't available for Google accounts outside the UK. I can't believe how disappointed I am at not being able to park my hire car in a car park because of a cash only policy. Whoever has decided this policy ought to find another job, because they certainly can't do this job properly. My advice for international tourists.....GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, RICHMOND DOESNT WANT YOU

Slow down or you'll miss it! Tidy little car park with good parking spaces, not too tight. Easy paying, app or card.
