Waited 15 minutes to be served at the pharmacy counter - treated as though I was invisible.Two men serving just ignored me. Left and went to another chemist where I got served quickly. Won’t return to Boots.
Dreadful queuing system at the pharmacy Prescription service and over the counter meds are 2 counters covered by only 1 staff member yet we're all supposed to queue at the pharmacy side without any sign directing us to do so When I arrived a guy was queuing at the over the counter side while the staff member was dealing with someone on the prescription side, she looked over and told him there was only one queue so he swapped sides and I let him go before me as he was there before me. When it was his turn she directed him to the till at the over the counter side, then several other customers arrived and seeing him being served they started to queue behind him, despite it being my turn next she proceeded to serve them. So make up your mind! One minute she's telling customers where to queue, the next she's breaking her own rules and leaving existing customers waiting This system has been in place for months and originally there was a sign but this has now disappeared leaving customers unaware of how these counters operate Most likely due to being short staffed She realised I was annoyed but didn't apologize The local independent chemist will be getting my business from now on This is why big name companies are leaving the high streets, no loyalty to customers
Agree with the previous review. Collection of my repeat prescription is always a saga when it should be quick and simple. Long queue's to collect, often not ready despite text being received. Sometimes I get a text 3 or 4 days after collection advising prescription is ready to collect!!! Needs someone to take hold of the department as it really is now beyond a joke.
Really good bought some sleeping tablets they recommend to by the boots version of nytol which was a lot cheaper
Absolutely terrible, takes them almost a week to get a prescription ready, then when you go and pick it up the most important drug is missing, you know, the one that could put you in Hospital if you don't take it? Having run out, all they can say is ' oh, we didn't realise!!' Need better staff and somebody who actually knows what they are doing :(
