Just leaving JD after trying to buy football boots. Had to walk the length of the store to find a manager to ask for my size. The young man who returned mumbled 8 or 9, despite me asking for an 8.5. He huffed and went to fetch a pair. When he brought them back he asked if there was someone here to try them on. I am female, but didn't realise that would be such a shock for the assistant that girls may need football boots too. I replied, yes, me. He Then stood scowling at me whilst I was allowed to try only one boot. They didn't fit so I chose another pair to try. He had already gone and I left as it was too uncomfortable to try to find someone again to ask for a different pair.

Fantastic experience and customer service from the young lad working on trainers department and this is the second time we have had the pleasure of him serving us therefore feel It is only right to share this and for the store to get positive recognition. What a fantastic polite, helpful and accommodating young man a credit to your store.

If possible I would rate this store 0 stars. Absolutely awful customer service skills. Staff were very young and utter unorganised. Took over 40 minutes to find a parcel that was pre ordered. Not once did staff acknowledge us stood there, completely overlooked and then as we left a young lady had the cheek to get into an altercation with my partner. Very unprofessional and not what you expect in the retail industry. I would never return to this store after this. JD needs to have a look at the quite frankly, abysmal staff in this store
