The Carousel Brewers Fayre

Ordered two courses from their 'festive menu' - the soup and the turkey. Order goes through with no mention that they hadn't any turkey. 10 minutes later the waitress comes over to THEN tell me they haven't got any. Why wasn't I informed when I put my order through? I was charged for the price of two courses!! The waitress asks me if I want anything different. So I negotiate so that I could have gammon instead of the turkey, but with the rest of the meal on the plate. Very accommodating of them, but why couldn't they have told me before? I'm waiting at least 35 minutes for the meal, then it arrives all at once! I ordered the starter and main, not for it come at the same time! The soup is so hot that by the time I finished the main, the temperature is the same. The couple across from me told the waitress they had waited 45 minutes for their meals, to which she replies by offering sir a free dessert or drink, which seems to be a cheap gimmick to me to buy their silence. Why does it take so long for food to arrive in this place? In future please can you let the bar staff know if you run out of items so the customers can be better informed??!!

Just a hot drink this time, visited the Carousel which is a good place to meet up with friends. Nice location, handy for the town and the beaches. Good to know that once you've bought your drink, you get a refill. Nice staff and surroundings. Food was being served and it looked good.

Wonderful place for family lunch, dinner, but they also offer breakfast. There is quite a good bar. For lunch we ordered a Classic Beef Lasagne and Melt-in-the-Middle Fish Pie Fishcake, with house white wine. Tasty, good and sufficient fur two of us.

A brilliant start to our Saturday for our Dads Behaving Madly community. 23 of us had tables booked for 9.30am, all reserved and shown to our tables. Zac & June explained where everything was and what's on offer. Delicious all you can eat breakfast, everything cooked perfectly 👌 Considering there was quite a few of us we left full and satisfied. Thank you for the excellent service and Delicious breakfast 😋

I recently dined at The Carousel and had what I can only describe as the best dining experience of my life. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, but the real highlight of the evening was the exceptional service provided by Zac, who looked after me and my table with genuine care and attention. I ordered the crispy prawns and the sweet & sour dish, both of which were absolutely delicious. Thanks to Zac’s attentive service and the outstanding food, I would happily give The Carousel a 10/10. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking an impeccable dining experience.
