I had a large problem with Nationwide being very unaccepting of all forms of my ID, and even got my account banned without a warning. The Scarborough branch, and the helpful staff member George in particular helped to resolve this issue efficiently
Disgusting service today for my husband who had to go in to the branch to close his dead mother's accounts. Was made to stand at the counter to deal with this very upsetting matter. When he enquired after a private office to do this as he had a set appointment time, he was told this "wasn't allowed." Absolutely disgusting service. How long are banks and building societies going to carry on hiding behind Covid as an excuse for appalling treatment of customers. Shame on you.

Friday 2nd June: I"ve been sitting on hold to Scarborough Nationwide Office for 1hour and 15 minutes to cancel an appointment with them and I'm getting nowhere ... I just have to hang up!!!
Why is the ATM frequently out of use at SCARBOROUGH Branch with your reduced opening hours this needs to be working at all times.
