Went into the branch on Friday and was offered less than the website estimate, as expected. Was an OK price and their price promise was mentioned. I wanted to get a second estimate so went elsewhere. Decided to accept Webuyanycar's offer and booked an appointment for the Saturday. Guy at the site claimed not to remember me from the previous day and came back with a £500 lower offer! When challenged as to why this was, he repeatedly blamed 'the system". He would not change the price and could not explain why the "price promise' did not apply. I felt I was being taken advantage of and did not proceed. I was very disappointed with this company and will not attempt to do business with them again.
Very pleased with the service. Quick, efficient and I received the full amount of the estimate.
Staff member was excellent. Sadly the phone connection on his tablet was temperamental. Can't see why your pads can't save the information and then send it when there is a decent signal. The chap dealing with us was apologetic for keeping us longer than normal. He was first class.
I have used the Selby branch previously. Great guy to deal with, friendly and efficient! No you don't get the quote given on line but it's always in line with what you would get selling it privately. Your not sat around waiting for people to turn up and taking it for a drive then haggling on the price. It's hassle free and convenient, keep up the good work and thank you to the Selby branch Great service as always!
