bought a pair of New Balance trainers for £160 from JD Sports, and within just two months, the shoes started tearing — despite normal, casual use. When I returned to the store to request an exchange or refund, I was told they couldn’t do anything about it. I found this response completely unacceptable. At this price point, I expected a product of much higher quality and durability — and at the very least, better customer support. It’s disappointing that JD Sports doesn’t seem to stand behind the products they sell. I won’t be shopping here again, and I wouldn’t recommend them to others. Be careful – if your item turns out to be faulty, they might leave you stuck with it.
My first ever review because it’s deserved on this occasion. Visited a few days ago to buy some trainers however took me 5 minutes to find a worker then on top of that some lad who looks Somali served me and with a bad odour firstly secondly he took 15 minutes to bring my shoe to me to then harass me about buying some spray and I said I’m ok but then proceeded to show me other items which I wasn’t interested in, he then stropped away and put my shoes behind till without telling me till 5 minutes later. Then was greeted by a rude girl on the till who looked like she was forced to be there. Smile for gods sake!!!! Maybe I should have bought that spray the customer service might’ve been different… and he should buy a lynx Africa spray!
Great experience at JD Sports The staff were friendly and helpful, and I found exactly what I was looking for the store was clean and well-organized and the prices were good for the quality I will definitely shop here again!
Its really cold in here. The air con is positioned above all the benches and seats so it's an uncomfortable shopping experience. The music is too loud, can hardly hear people talking to me. Sales are nice though.
It seems that most jd sports around the country have a high turnover of young staff so you never really get exceptional customer service, most of the staff seem like they either don't actually want to be there or are just there because it looks kind of trendy to work there! Although I'm sure there are good members of staff somewhere! I've never had a problem with any of them but have witnessed poor service and heard stories. Other than that it's a great shop to grab some nice clothing and trainers. And if tiur lucky you can grab some really good bargains of you get there at the right time.
