A pretty good gym overall, plenty of equipment with a few exceptions (please tell me where there's only one leg press and one Pec Deck). The gyms clean most of the time, it's more the people who come than the staffs fault when it's not. Only major complaint is the music is just way too loud, everyone's got headphones in so why are you pumping out the music so loud I can hear it over my own music.

Not sure about the number of negative reviews. I joined this gym when it opened and have been coming every week since (ok maybe not on Xmas week) I've gone from a size 18/20 to a size 12 with healthy eating and gym so I can thank a lot to this place. I usually come here (yes I'm currently here too) after work. Whilst it's true there are quite a few kids during the week, they don't bother me and I never felt like they are wasting equipment. There can be days when it's busier (Monday) and you can't go to your chosen equipment straight away, but I never waited more than 5-10 minutes and I usually just do something else like cardio to get my heart rate up in the meantime. I haven't yet had PT sessions but I will enquire soon about this as now I feel like I am ready to build more muscle and tone up instead of losing weight.

In recent months, what was once an excellent gym has deteriorated into nothing more than a playground for unsupervised children. The facility is now overrun by groups of school-age individuals who appear to attend solely to socialise, run around, and film each other rather than train. They congregate around machines in groups of six or more, occupying equipment for excessive periods while contributing nothing to the gym environment. Their behaviour is consistently disruptive and wholly unacceptable. They play games on the gym floor, set up tripods throughout the facility—including the changing rooms—and even express irritation when members accidentally walk into their recordings. They vape openly, bring phones into the sauna to play music and watch TikTok, and leave rubbish scattered around without any consideration for others. Many of them clearly have no understanding of how to use the equipment safely, placing themselves at significant risk of injury. This conduct has driven numerous long-standing members to leave, and it is deeply concerning that such issues have been allowed to escalate to this level. JD Gym: this must be addressed immediately. Are you content with the increasingly appalling reputation your establishment is developing, or are you simply willing to accept payment while the facility devolves into a children’s playground?

Excellent gym, with modern equipment some of which is Hammer Strength. The premises are clean, there is good gym etiquette from staff and members - I have enjoyed visiting this gym.

Absolutely great gym with loads of equipment and a sauna. Staff are incredibly helpful and Christian especially has helped me out with form and technique for exercises I was utterly clueless about and a very approachable guy about gym advice
