My wife and I visited David Lloyd York to day to discuss the possibility of becoming members. We were greeted by Luke, who is a Sales Consultant. Luke gave us a comprehensive tour of the club's facilities, followed by a discussion of membership details. We found Luke an engaging and knowledgeable consultant who explained everything very clearly. At no time did we feel rushed or put under pressure to make a membership decision. And, yes, we did decide to join! Luke has excellent people skills, a good sense of humour and a thoroughly professional approach to his role at David Lloyd. Thank you, Luke.
Great new facilities, welcoming staff. Visited for a trail date and the staff were very knowledgeable with any questions I had. Claire (club room) was especially nice, made me feel I belong…So here I am, joining this week! A little encouragement goes a long way! 5⭐️
I have been a member of this gym (previously Next Generation) several times over the past 20 years. The gym is having an amazing refurbishment with luxury spa, so I decided to look into renewing my membership. I was given an appointment with Holly, one of the Membership Team staff. Holly was so attentive, had all the answers to my long list of questions, was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of classes available, the new facilities and tailored her tour appropriately for a person of my age group. I’ve looked around a number of different gyms over the past few years and this tour really stood out to me for the genuinely warm welcome I received. I was so impressed by how respectful Holly was, and her non pushy but professional sales pitch, that it was definitely the deciding factor in not only me, but also my husband rejoining! I am so excited and looking forward to a healthier 2026! Thank you Holly!
The new refurbished club looks amazing! Excited to get started and Luke was really helpful in our welcome and introduction to the club, really efficient at solving any queries and informative when explaining everything. Received a parking ticket despite being a paying member. Car park is more often completely full when i use the club, something the club themselves have already acknowledged as an ongoing issue. Yet they still use external enforcement company to ticket members. Very poor and unfair customer experience.
