Been in shop today and bought some trainers for my daughter. lovely service from lily even though she persuaded me on getting this spray on them! Lovely staff Lovely shop

Went into Barnsley store today. Good range of shoes, invisible staff. Had to go search for one. One lady knocked on stock room door as there were some staff in there, I had to go right to other side of store for help, as they always seemed to be furthest away from possible customers. Will try Wakefield store next week.

Asked if I could have a refund that hung up on me saying no I couldn't have a refund shoes are a problem for me as it is. Then to be treated that way.

The store itself is nice, and the staff all very helpful. The only issue is the sizes they have in stock. I am a size 13 and was told that they don't stock anything larger than a 12 in-store, which I found rather odd. In the end, I went to the nearby Sports Direct and got a pair of shoes in the right size there. I won't be shopping in Deichmann again.

I don't normally post reviews, but I think we should all be making an effort to let people know when we have had fantastic service (as let's be honest it's a rarity these days). I called into Deichmann in Barnsley after work today, purchased 2 pairs of boots and the staff member who helped me was great (I don't know his name but he was tall with dark hair). He was happy to get a shoe box down for me which I was struggling with and waterproofed my shoes for me at the till point. He was polite and chatty and explained things well and asked if I needed a bag. He also ran round the counter to hand the bag to me. I should say as well I felt very safe in store, room to social distance, hand sanitizer provided and it was explained that if you are wearing socks you are welcome to try shoes on. I left feeling very pleased with my experience and would definitely call in again. Well done Deichmann! 5 star service! :)
