& Juliet Comes to Bradford: A Fresh Take on Shakespeare’s Classic

If you think you know Juliet’s story, think again! This March, the award-winning musical & Juliet is bringing its pop-fuelled energy to Bradford’s Alhambra Theatre for a week of performances. From Monday 24th to Saturday 29th March 2025, audiences will get to see what happens when Juliet rewrites her own fate—without Romeo.

A Second Chance for Juliet

Forget the tragic ending you learned in school. In & Juliet, Shakespeare’s heroine decides she’s not done with life just yet. This fresh, fun, and laugh-out-loud show, created by David West Read (the Emmy-winning writer of Schitt’s Creek), flips the script on the world’s most famous love story.

Instead of a tragic end, Juliet gets a playlist of pop anthems and a shot at living her best life. The show features hit songs from Max Martin, the mastermind behind some of the biggest chart-toppers of the last few decades. Expect to sing along to classics like:
