|Winning is a habit, and Bradford City are proving it. February was a month to remember for the Bantams, as Graham Alexander and Antoni Sarcevic picked up the Sky Bet League Two Manager and Player of the Month awards.
Let’s talk about why they deserved it.

Alexander’s Tactical Masterclass
Managing a football team isn’t just about shouting from the touchline—it’s about making the right decisions at the right time. And Alexander got it spot on.
February was a busy month, with City juggling six league games and crucial Vertu Trophy Quarter and Semi-Finals. Despite the pressure, the team picked up 13 points from those league fixtures, keeping their promotion hopes alive.
One standout achievement? Bradford’s home form. A 10th consecutive win at the University of Bradford Stadium set a new club record—a clear sign that Alexander has turned their ground into a fortress.
The gaffer wasn’t taking all the credit, though.
"I am delighted to receive this award on behalf of all the players and staff that have contributed to our form this season."
That’s a proper manager’s response—always putting the team first.
Sarcevic’s Goal-Scoring Brilliance
If Alexander has been calling the shots, Antoni Sarcevic has been making things happen on the pitch. The midfielder bagged the Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month award after a standout February.
His goals weren’t just for show—they won points.
- Harrogate (1-0 win) – A crucial winner in a tight contest.
- MK Dons (2-0 win) – A brace to seal another three points.
Three goals, two match-winning performances. It’s no surprise he’s been recognised.
Sarcevic was quick to praise his teammates:
"On a personal note, I am proud to be recognised for my efforts during February, but none of it would have been possible without the team."
That’s the spirit that drives a promotion push—everyone fighting for each other.
Momentum Building for Bradford
With confidence sky-high and records being broken, Bradford City are gathering serious momentum. Promotion? Maybe even a title push? Time will tell.
One thing’s certain—if February was anything to go by, the Bantams won’t be slowing down anytime soon.
