I have used this Travelodge on several occasions. The rooms and staff have always been excellent. On one occasion, we had an issue with the car park fee (one of the machines wasn't working properly), and subsequently the local manager helped up deal with the parking company. Most recently, I left a paperback book at the hotel, and the manager was able to post it on to me. Many Thanks.
Room very clean only gave 4 stars as the disabled handrail in bathroom is chime and smooth so you can’t grip to help yourself up. We had a few issues when we arrived after a funeral but we had a most wonderful polite young man called Keilan nothing was too much trouble he sorted our problems with empathy and respect nothing was too much trouble very professional his kindness made us feel so much better.
I stayed at the Travelodge and had such a smooth, comfortable experience. The rooms were clean, quiet, and had everything I needed for a good night’s rest. What really stood out was the service — Yuko, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. She was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about every guest. You can tell she runs the place with pride. Would definitely stay again — thanks Yuko and team for the great hospitality!
Rooms - no issues- clean and reasonably comfortable. Visit marred by break in of car in carpark area in spite of car being within line of sight of front entrance and member of staff reprotedly being there as well - car parts stripped from it (car ended up being written off as undriveable - all interior trim/interior wiring taken away/cut off). Hotel staff reportedly aware of this taking place in early hours of morning but did not raise the alarm/call police and we were only informed later in the morning. Informed by police area rife with garages requesting "stolen to order" car parts.
Such a good hotel it’s a shame to have a bad manager. Mistreatment of myself and my family. I don't know what made him do that. He would come in without asking while we were asleep and search the room. The other employees were very kind. Unfortunately, he doesn't know that this will make the place and himself ugly. She also told us they could not come out of the hotel in their home dresses. I hope I don't go back to this place.
