The staff at Denaby are the best I've seen. They are always cheerful and very professional in their work. An absolute pleasure, and well done to the manager, Nicola, for her choice in staff.
Food and drink is pretty standard as far as Costa Coffees go. Staff like a good chat between themselves when there was no service despite multiple tables having finished drinks and plates on them. The floor was requiring a sweep as there was food on the floor around many tables. Atmosphere... well given it was October, damp and rainy outside, most customers were sat in their coats as the air-conditioning was blasting out cold air. When the shift manager was asked about turning the air con off or temperature up apparently this was not possible, the temperatures were set to make sure the chiller fridges didnt break as they had just been fixed.
Sat inside in October & I swear it would be warmer outside. Pretty much every person in the place has their coat on as its freezing. Asked the staff if the air con could be turned off/fans made to stop oscillating or set to warmer. Before the staff member had a chance to answer the "manager" said they can't alter the air con as they're "not allowed". Apparently the place needs to be uncomfortably cold in order for the fridges to function correctly. In addition to this, the place is untidy! Tables not cleared & food on the floor. Not an inviting place at all. I won't be rushing back.

The staff here are very helpful and friendly especially the Manager who goes out of her way to make sure everything is ok.Our go to place every weekend.
