They’re rated 2.7 for a reason. They forgot my apple pie on a simple, small order, and the place was barely busy (03/12/25 at 6:15 pm). I had to drive back over a mile to pick it up, and by then the food was cold, though it was already lukewarm when I first collected it. The manager (the short ginger haired girl) seemed more concerned with pointing out her colleague’s mistake than offering a sincere apology or even a small gesture like adding a cheeseburger. Nothing to resolve it professionally, no wonder why the star rating are low with a manager like that operating.

I got a large burger meal from the drive through and before I could order there was a medium coke I told the worker taking my order and she said that it was part of the meal and that it was fine. I reminded her 2 more times after that but she said the same thing. After I paid they charged me the medium coke on top of the burger meal which was an extra £2 and when it came time to collect the tried to give me a water but I told them that I didn't order that and for once they actually listened and then gave me 2 cokes and told me to park up for the burger and fries. They then had me wait in the car park for 15 minutes and they call themselves fast food. Don't eat at the Dewsbury MacDonald's it has bad food and even worse service .don't bother just drive 10 minutes more and find something else. I hope this is helpful

I got a delivery order. I have tried ringing and no one has answered. They have given me a full fat Coke instead of a Diet Coke and it is not filled to 0.4 L line like it should be and it has been there a while as it is flat. No sauces in the bag that I requested and can see on my order transaction. No straw or napkins and the fries are old. I have worked in a McDonald’s before and never have I know which a poor restaurant.

the food is fresh and hot, but the service is not to be commended, at least what goes on in the kitchen, during my last visit the cheeseburger was put together as if it was made for a dog, and not just one cheeseburger, but 3-4. so we are not talking about a one-time mistake. maybe they should think about who they employ in the kitchen

I don’t usually write reviews, but after what happened to me and my wife, I feel like I have to warn people. We went to McDonald’s for what was supposed to be a quick, harmless meal — big mistake. A few hours after eating, both of us were violently sick. We’re talking full-on food poisoning — stomach cramps, nausea, the works. I can’t even look at a burger now without feeling queasy. Clearly, something was very wrong with the food that day — maybe it wasn’t cooked properly, or hygiene standards have gone out the window. Either way, it completely ruined our weekend. I expected fast food, not a trip to the bathroom every 10 minutes. Absolutely unacceptable. McDonald’s seriously needs to sort out their food safety standards because this was beyond disgusting. Never again. My pregnant wife now is sat in hospitals with severe health issues avoid this place at all costs. Wouldn’t feed it to a starving dog.
