All staff busy with conversation between each other, Apart from how dirty it was from the very entrance, with food leftovers from previous customers everywhere. Despite us ordering and eating inside, everything was cold, not to mention the fries, which were hard from the cold. This shouldn't happen, where someone orders food and receives it cold, right inside the restaurant. It's normal in Castleford, as this isn't the first time I've eaten there, but the manager and none of the other staff seem to care. I will definitely never return to McDonald's in Castleford.
I’ll be honest I’ve had a few bad experiences on Just Eat with this McDonald’s and they never remember sauces etc. but I have time and time again thought “it’s just fast food it’s fine” and swiftly got over it, I have always had empathy for the workers and the shifts and hours they put in and know you’re not always going to get a 100% order. I went to the store today to pick up breakfast for me and my partner, got home and was mid way through a cheese and bacon flatbread when I found mould on it. Absolutely grim.
ordered 2 big mac meals with 4 chicken nuggets that were free due to point, all added up to £20 and only 1 big mac meal game but 2 drinks game no other big mac meal came and 4 chicken nuggets didn’t come and came freezing cold
The untidiest McDonald's I've been in. Overflowing bins, litter on the tables and floor. The counter was cluttered too.
I placed a collection order yesterday and arrived at the requested time. Unfortunately, I had to wait in the car park for around 10 minutes while the food was finished. When it was finally brought out, it was cold and no apology was offered. It’s very frustrating to see that delivery platform orders (Just Eat, Uber Eats, etc.) are clearly being prioritised ahead of customers who have made the effort to collect in person. I completely understand that you’re busy, but it feels unfair that those of us collecting directly are left waiting longer and receive colder food as a result. A quick apology and some acknowledgment at the time would have gone a long way. I hope you can look at how collection orders are managed so that in-person customers aren’t consistently pushed to the back of the queue.
