I recently ordered a takeaway from this location (Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese meal and a cappuccino), and it was a very disappointing experience. While the burger was "okay" (though a bit cold), the cappuccino was completely undrinkable. As soon as I took a sip, it tasted and smelled strongly of chemicals—specifically like dishwashing soap or cleaning fluid. It was so overwhelming that I had to throw the entire drink away. It completely spoiled the meal and is a major concern regarding how the machines are being rinsed after cleaning. I feel like it was a total waste of money. I won't be ordering coffee from here again.
This was a great joint to grab lunch when changing trains, with plenty of self-service kiosks available! Big Mac was tasty with fresh fries and a Coke at comfy seating, found a table easily for us two. Service was fast although staff messed up first not giving me fries, then they had also given ketchup again when I told them I'd already picked some up at the till earlier.
McDonald's in the UK really needs to up their game..... Went again this time for breakfast. Other than the shake, everything was average at best. Although the staff was very professional and helpful.
Very disappointed with the service at this McDonald’s. I went through the drive-through and realised almost immediately after leaving the window—but still within the parking area—that items were missing from my order. Despite going back straight away, the staff were unhelpful and the process to resolve the issue was slow and frustrating. There was no apology, and I felt like my concerns were dismissed. For a well-known brand like McDonald’s, this kind of service is unacceptable. ⚠️ Advice to others: Always check your order before leaving the pick-up window—even if it holds up the queue—because once you drive off, getting support becomes unnecessarily difficult. Won’t be returning to the Farm Road, Sheffield location any time soon.
Wife and l visiting Sheffield for the second time in 2 months and twice we've been to this McDonalds. Service in store is very good despite having a busy drive thru. Special mention to the young South Asian man with long hair. I have seen him on both visits and he works extremely hard, cleaning, tidying up and is very attentive. Wife and l needed a bag and not only did he take our rubbish, he gave us a bag and serviettes before we could ask for it. He also dealt with a mum who was struggling to settle her young autistic son. He took her order quickly and brought out some drawings and crayons for the young boy. He's a credit to your business! Well done to that young man and thank you.
