I was put through to NW Head Office to try and obtain a closing/transfer balance statement from my cash ISA. What a complicated and unhelpful telephone process. In the end my phone pass code was suspended and I never got through. Terrible service and totally unhelpful. No information shown on my NW App that this account ever existed. My local Helmsley branch was unable to provide the information on the phone as their phone calls are not recorded despite verifying who I was.
Very helpful staff. Helmsley is a delightful place to visit anyway. I needed help to open an savings account and I do not like doing everything on line. To have smiling helpful people to assist is a bonus.
