Horrible place for the children to play in. Outdated equipment, which is dangerous and very often dog poo smeared deliberately on the equipment. Glass in the play area and other rubbish. I asked the council to look at upgrading this park many years ago and I was told they had funding to do so but I have not heard anything since. Please look at the government 'play area/ parks section and get in touch with them to have their say. I now drive my kids out of the area just so they can have a half decent place to play.
Looks like a big field, basketball / football courts, kids park and this calesthenics park. Paralettes, uneven pull up bars, monkey bars, dip bars, ab and back stations. A slanted bar, no idea what to do on that (any ideas appreciated). Some park benches close for box jumps, pistol regressions etc. I like this woukout park.
Nice open space park, plenty of dog walkers, children’s play area, basketball court and skating area, climbing frame etc. Slight incline to the north side of the park, plenty of benches to take a rest on. Ample free roadside parking nearby.
Calm and quiet place really nice to hangout in the evenings.
Nice local park…. It’s the people that do the park that ruined it! Youths smoking god knows what, rubbish everywhere all depends on what time you attend the park. It’s such a shame it’s nice little place to walk
