Great Table, But Delivery Could Improve We are very happy with the table and 6 chairs we bought from the British Heart Foundation for £280 plus £35 for shipping. It saved us from a tight spot, as buying a new set would have been much more expensive. The quality of the table is average, but it's more than enough to last for many years. I'm giving 4 stars because the delivery service could be better. It wasn't made clear to us that the shipping didn't include assembly, and nobody explained how to put the table together. The delivery people were quite abrupt; they left the furniture unassembled, and we, with no experience assembling furniture, had to figure out how to do it correctly. Despite this, we are very satisfied with the purchase and the value it offers.

I have never experienced the kind of racism and bullying here in Hull anywhere else. My family moved to this country 8 years ago, and during these 8 years, they always shopped at this store. Even though I personally didn’t want to go there, my father always chose this place. I don’t think we will be going there anymore. Here’s why: One day, my parents went to this store to buy a bunk bed for my siblings. They explained that they wanted to buy this bed, and guess what the employee told my father? They said it was only for ‘gentlemen’—meaning, they only sell to English people. I believe this is a lie because there can’t be such a rule. I never wanted to enter this store anyway because the staff were never friendly, and now, after this incident, I am extremely angry. What kind of store supports LGBT+ rights if it treats customers like this? Honestly, this is unacceptable

I will be using this charity again. Great service from beginning to end. I was allowed to browse the shop at my leisure and purchasing the items was a 5 min job. The 2 delivery guys were also excellent, brought my purchases up 3 flights of stairs for me. Called me regularly on the morning of delivery, to keep me informed of what was happening. Excellent service, thank you.
