A New Era for Bean Loved

If you're a fan of Bean Loved, Skipton’s beloved independent coffee shop, you’re in for a treat. After a major refurbishment, the café is back with a fresh new look, a revamped dine-in menu, and—excitingly—a brand-new takeaway service launching in April 2025.

So, whether you're in the mood to sit and savour a perfectly brewed coffee or need a quick bite on the go, Bean Loved now has you covered.

What’s New?

1. A Modern Makeover

Bean Loved has had a full refurbishment of its downstairs dining and service area, designed by Bowman Riley, a local architecture and interior design firm. The updated space includes a brand-new counter and bar service area, designed to make ordering quicker and easier while keeping the cosy, welcoming feel that customers love.

Owner Wes Bond is thrilled with the transformation:

2. The Takeaway Bar

For the first time, Bean Loved is offering a dedicated takeaway service, making it even easier to grab your favourite coffee or meal on the go. The new ‘Quick Bites’ menu will launch in April and feature:

• Sandwiches
• Poke bowls
• Salads
• Sweet treats
• Hot & cold drinks

Best of all? You can pre-order your takeaway through the Bean Loved App for a faster, hassle-free collection.

3. A Fresh Dine-In Menu

If you prefer to sit in and relax, Bean Loved’s dine-in menu has also had a refresh. The kitchen team has created a mix of classic dishes and exciting new flavours, while keeping customer favourites—yes, the famous pancakes are still on the menu!

The refurbishment wasn’t just about aesthetics. Bean Loved worked with local contractors, ADNC Projects Limited, and sourced high-quality, fresh ingredients to maintain its commitment to local suppliers.

A Café with History

Bean Loved has been a staple of the Skipton community since 2007, when Wes Bond and his father, Steve, set out to bring speciality coffee to the town. With Wes’s experience in hospitality and catering (including competing in the UK Barista Championships), the café has built a reputation for quality coffee and food.
