Well, I've cancelled a low star review and replaced it with this one after some amazing customer services from the store manager. Brilliant shop floor staff, really helpful and friendly (as per my initial review). The delivery was not great initially as they unnecessarily refused to off load the van. However, once I spoke with the store manager, a second delivery team team were sent to reattempt a delivery and they had no issues bringing the item in. Huge thanks to the Castleford store manager and the young guys who came and delivered successfully. Really happy with everything in the end 👍

I was absolutely shocked by the way I was treated today (03/04/25). My wife and I had spotted a sofa set we were interested in, and we had enquired. I spoke to a lady of which, I asked for a price and she politely replied, she wasn't sure. Then a gentleman came across the shop floor, the lady had asked him about my inquiry, he mumbled whatever the price was as he walked past me without stopping! I was in a position to buy the sofa, but because he was rude and he didn't have the time to stop, I just left the store. Don't think I'll return to that store again.

For the 3rd time now I have seen some of the WORST customer service at BHF in Castleford (furniture), I was ignored at the till for an extended period of time while the members of staff decided to just do nothing instead. after I bought 2 bedside tables Karina (name on receipt) decided it was a good idea to just laugh under her breath and make comments to other member of staff while I tried to sort out my tables and 2 kids. Absolute disgrace...

Went to buy a broken product, it has 3 different price stickers where it had been reduced, one for £15, one for £7.50 and one for £5. Anyone would assume it was the £5 sticker as there was one that wasn't broken up £15 Took it to the till and expected me to pay £15, even when I pointed out it was broken and had all the reduction stickers. I've heard a lot of bad things about this shop and never trusted them but I will now

Bought a wardrobe from here via Ebay. We went to store see it from a distance because it was in a packed warehouse. We asked the guy who served us how much delivery was and he said £40 but the woman on the till charged £45 When the wardrobe arrived it was covered in layers of nicotine with a visible difference in colour on the non exposed bits When the wardrobe was returned to store I telephoned to enquire why our purchase had not been refunded after a week and the woman I spoke to was rude Would not use this branch ever again
