Great local venue, that hosts a surprising range of concerts, theatre events and comedy throughout the year. It's full Disabled friendly, however, parking is across the road in the municipal car park. Bar prices are reasonable but range is fairly slim. Altogether a great local asset, keeping a historic Holmfirth landmark running.
Great little venue, staffed mostly by volunteers on the night of the Shooglenifty gig. Coffee at £2 was good value, bottled water at £1.20 likewise. Overall a gift experience, will hopefully be back!
A Murder is Announced play at the Civic Holmfirth, hadn't seen too many reviews about this.I thought the whole lot was very well put together. The cast were all super and the plot kept you on tenterhooks right till the last scene.Pity it's the last night tomorrow as I'm sure plenty more people would have loved it.Well done to the whole crew.
Lovely venue. Looked after by a local society. Well kept. We went to see Justin Moorhouse and he was hilarious.
Great folk festival Ceildh tonight in a friendly venue. Sensibly priced bar too.
