Holmfirth Tavern

So this venue is tucked away, off the main road down a cobbled path, not very good signage, but we have been before to see a band. Dog friendly throughout, on 2 levels , with outside seating available but not a good idea today ⛄️⛄️, quite steep stairs upto the area which bands perform in, toilets up there as well. Americana themed bar, with lots of country music playing in the background, Sky TV for all sports fans, mainly burgers and some salads, wings and desserts. We had the Texas melt, beef patties, bacon, caramelised onions, bbq sauce, cheese, seasoned fries, served on Texas toast, and a side order of apple slaw, which was delicious Unfortunately they forgot to put the cheese on (probably ran out) but the food was good and came quickly. Staff very friendly, and apologised when I went to pay the tab , good range of beers, I didn't see the Budvar so we both had Guinness, splash of blackcurrant for my lady . Also when server came to take our order , she didn't ask if we had any allergies, standard question these days. Would come back again, but suggest points raised need attention from Management

Been wanting to try here since my fella told me about it. Went for a date night on Saturday it did not disappoint. The service was lovely, the food so tasty and the atmosphere was amazing. Highly recommend to any country music lover and lover of good food.

Superb hidden gem in Holmfirth. A genuine dedicated Coutry Music Bar, with special live performances from the new generation of country stars. Excellent range of cocktails, especially the Old Fashion's, 5 different versions to experience. Beautiful range of classic American style food, wings and burgers are plentiful and trust, some of the best wings I've had outside of the USA, served with the classic blue cheese and celery

Amazing food in huge portions! Really nice , suprise pop in visit here. Aylsha serving us was warm and friendly. We will deffo return , especially for one of the live music nights. The food is a must but order on the more modest side . Great value and quality here .
