As part of our walk around Hull, our route took us through this pleasant park. Several plaques dotted around detailing the history of the park and also a glasshouse that is free to visit.

This is a peaceful and clean park, perfect for walking and unwinding. The surrounding nature offers a calm and refreshing atmosphere. One thing that could improve is the small lake next to the park, as the water has become quite dirty over time. With a little care and attention, this park could become even more beautiful.

It was a lovely park that formed part of my rat hunt around Hull. Easy to locate with on street parking. Stunning entrance gate. A fab little cafe (cash only) for a quick cuppa and elevenses, good clean toilets. Hosting a lake, conservatory, and several statues. Perfect for picnics and lots of young people and adults alike enjoying the sun. Popular with dog walkers, too.

The council have done a first class job, upgrading this park. My kids love it, too. Perfect place to relax, with your lunch and a coffee.
