This is just a nice place to relax in the mid of day, take a walk under the evening sun, stroll across the heart of hull, and enjoy the fresh breeze before it rains. There are lots of shops, malls, and other tourist attractions to visit closeby. I loved my time there, and enjoyed the city of Hull (against all odds). 😉

Great little fountain/splash area for the kids to play. The weather was great so wasn’t concerned about them getting wet.

The pedestrian centre of Hull, Queen Victoria's statue dominates, surrounded as she is by three trident yielding maidens. The Monarch looks less than amused at the collapse of her empire. The remnants are impressive, though. Behind her is the Town Hall, its facade is wrought in yellow sandstone. Roman columns decorate the grand entrance recalling another empire gone but not forgotten.
