Pros- good number and variety of machines and free weights. Felt comfortable as a women and saw no questionable behaviour. Cons - no mat area for warm up/cool down/bodyweight. So many machines it's overcrowded, especially around the cables, not enough space to do a majority of exercises without having to work around other equipment. Not clean.
Have been member for 6 years at gym in town... then equipment was in dissrepair seating with black tape.. I did wonder what was wrong... then one morning I find all locked up... they did owe me money after taking 2 monthly fees at a time that they had wrongly taken.. when asked for 4 times and no response Gym is closed. I would never use Planet gym.. or any gym the owner is involved with ever again.. plenty good gyms with good equipment. The owner is not an honest man. Take care all.
I arrived at this gym midday and pressed the buzzer to speak to someone and they was ok with me at first they said I could have a free taster session before I decide whether I want to sign up. weeks later I arrive for my taster i speak to someone on the buzzer he says tom is on shift, ill notify him your here so I speak with tom he says he knows nothing about the free taster session then speaks to the manager on his phone he says the manger is calling me a lier on text with tom. Tom showed me nothing but distraspect ....foundry gym is my next closest gym ty planet gym
Giving 3 as machines are not serviced and clean to often. Music could be louder. Lazy people leaving weights, equipment and plates on the bars, machines and floors.
Good amount of machines and equipment Most of the members are too lazy to put their weights back, so expect to spend half your session looking for weights someone has left on other equipment
