Usually love coming and bring some seed from the farm to hand feed the parakeets, parrot etc But then some nutter who works there came and said I couldn't because he didn't know where it was sourced 😅 Considering the conditions they are currently in and the location if you don't want people feeding them then put a barrier round, if not I will continue to be there every week as I have done for the last few years without the sad keeper who is clearly bent out of shape for having to work a bank holiday
An unexpected look at the birds in the aviary as well as the Rhea's and Wallabies in the semi open area.
West Park has wide open spaces, and is right next to the KC stadium (and Hull fair when it visits in October). There's an aviary, a kids playground, a skate park, and more. Completely free to enter, and very accessible. Very nice place to have a wander now and then, especially if you have kids who love to see a range of birds.
The white parrotty thing pretends to be your best friend all cuddly up to you and making out it cares so you fall into its trap of stroking it thru the cage. What a silly fool my girlfriend is, giving a parrot 🦜 her finger. Deserves to have one of her fingernails ripped off I say! So take heed and let this be a warning to all unsuspecting innocents. Don't ever, if you value your own safety, ever laugh at your girlfriend while she is screaming in pain and terror as a white feathery blood crazed demon is tearing chunks of skin, fingernail and bone from her probing finger!
