What an absolute delight! Fantastic place for any age, the volunteer Frank, not only entertained my 3 children he shared his knowledge and wisdom with them and they left having learnt new things and had fun! On top of that, my son who became unwell quite quickly would like to thank Frank for taking care of him. he has autism and finds social situations a challenge but he was brilliant with him. Thank you for a great visit and we'll definitely visit again soon.

Had the usual museums planned during city visit to Hull but stumbled upon this one and we were really impressed, in fact it was the highlight of our trip not only for what is inside but for the friendly and informative ex forces guide who showed us around. We learnt a lot about hull and the war and our sons were allowed to hold guns to bring everything to life. They are still talking about the dentist pliers too! I would thoroughly recommend this museum, they are really knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions you have.

Best museum in hull. And we have some great ones. The people that work in there have all the time in the world to talk to you and teach you things. My little boy even got to wear a helmet and fire a real rifle. He loved it. And enjoyed learning about the chocolate rations!!
