This is a rentable holiday house and not a bed and breakfast or hotel. Lovely welcome pack, nicely decorated rooms. We were a mixed group of nine from teenagers to eighty plus. The bare floor boards in many of the rooms and main staircase means the house can be rather noisy. Older family members found some of the small level changes within rooms a bit of an issue and the stairs down to the basement were a no go. Rents out to maximum of ten but can only just get two small cars on the drive, we had three cars and finding some where to park the other car was an ongoing issue. Howarth is a lovely place with lots of places to visit in and around the area.
Great place for a group of 10 of us to stop with fantastic views over t' Yorkshire country side. Just a 2 minute walk from village of Haworth, which you definitely need to check out. The house itself has some real character and charm about it and the owners make a real effort to welcome you (biscuits in the welcome hamper - yes mate). The only downsides are one of the bedrooms is really small and the shower wasn't warm for very long at all. Also parking, there is room for 1 car (2 at a push), there is on the street parking but it's not always easy to get a space. If these little things don't affect you then it's well worth stopping here.
Lovely house with excellent views. Welcoming hamper was nice surprise. Communication with the host was very good.
Wonderful place. Warm, clean and so welcoming. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.
Brilliant and unique. Odd layout but perfect for extended families.
