This car park gets extremely busy on Saturdays. I arrived around 10:30 and didn’t find a space until level 14. The bays are quite tight, with several only suitable for short wheel base cars. Parking was also on the pricey side at £7.00 for just four hours. Next time, I’ll be using the park and ride instead.
Very convenient car park near the city centre and university, much cheaper than all other car park in the area and with plenty of space. Not the cleaner or fancier with people sleeping in the stairs but still worth considering as a good option
Used the car park on university graduation day. This is probably why there was only one working lift by midday, and the remaining working lift packed in later on. Apart from the convenience of location, it is quite dingy as usually is the case with authority owned car parks.
About 5 min walk to LGI . This one you need to pay up front . I paid with my card get ticket display. Lots of space nice and clean. It's cheaper than the one closer to the hospital. If your fit and healthy don't mind a 5 min walk I would choose this car park .
This is a convenient choice of parking for the universities and hospital. If you don't mind a 5-10 minute walk, you can bimble to the shopping quarter with no problems. It is uphill on the way back, so if you are purchasing something heavy, keep this in mind. Likely to be 10-15 min walk to the train station, but there are better solutions if that is your plan. Accessible parking right next the the lifts on every floor with lift access (every other floor). It is also popular choice as it is one of the cheaper car parks in Leeds City, so you will likely be looking for a space, rather than just driving into one. This has never been an issue for me and parking has always been available. The spaces are very slightly on the tight side and if you are following someone with a 'Chelsea tractor', or other equality outlandish expense to demonstrate social status, you might enjoy the panic of them navigating the the ramps between floors. This is not because the vehicle will not fit, but you should know the size of your car to get round the car park safely. As far as I am aware, it is safe, and certainly plenty of lighting and CCTV. You are likely to see homeless persons on the streets around the car park/Universities, but again, this has never caused alarm for me, though some emotional discomfort. The smell of urine is overpowering if you take the stairs, but the lifts that, though slow, operate effectively, are clean, well lit with CCTV coverage.
