Chippendale

Thomas Chippendale was an 18th-century English furniture maker who is renowned for his exquisite designs and craftsmanship. Although he was born in Otley, a market town in West Yorkshire, Chippendale’s work was highly sought after by aristocrats and wealthy patrons throughout England. Today, his furniture is considered some of the finest examples of English Rococo and Neoclassical design. If Chippendale were alive today, he would undoubtedly be touring Yorkshire to showcase his work and pay homage to his roots.
