August 25, the Bank holiday, understood. But since you decided you will be working, please work. If you have glitches in the system please let the people know, not keeping them waiting for who knows what, who knows whom and God knows for how long. People might have no time for it. Were you actually working btw or someone forgot to lock the doors?
Called in for some help with billing and extras, didn’t hold out much hope as previous experiences with phone shops has never been good. I was served by Ellie-Morgan and she was so lovely - she was kind, attentive, and came up with a much better solution quick enough that I was able to visit the shop and get back to work within my dinner break. If all advisors were like her we would be in better place! Thank you Ellie for being so lovely.
I was thinking of changing my broadband to Vodafone, so rather than just doing it online I thought I would go to their shop in York. I went in and there were at least four employees with customers and they asked me to wait. I waited and waited. They seemed to take forever, discussing irrelevant things with the customers as I waited. After nearly half an hour, I gave up and walked out. They didn't seem to notice. I decided to apply for Vodafone broadband online anyway, as their full fibre 910 seems a good price and even better via Uswitch. All seemed well, I selected transfer my landline number in the application and that all went through without problems and I received the contract and welcome emails. However, a few days later I got a phone call from Vodafone from someone who was obviously in a distant land. I struggled to understand what he was saying but in the end I understood that he was saying that my application for their broadband had been terminated automatically because they were unable to transfer my landline number. He said that an email would be sent to me to explain but it never arrived. I gave up with them and negotiated a deal to stay with Sky my current provider
Came in for a new contract walked out with new broadband, free watch and tablet too. My bill is now cheaper than before. Great service from nick who spent alot of time with us explaining things. No complaints here. Thanks
Was in today with Loke ( I think, I'm rubbish with names) had a weird problem, sim card wouldn't work in my phone but worked in the shop phone, shop work phone sim card worked in my phone so it seemed both my sim card and phone were fine. Sadly their system was down but he suggested we pop back in an hour or two, which we did, thankfully their system was back up and I left with my phone working and a new contract for less money. Very happy 😊
