It’s very clean. It’s convenient with the app and no contract setup. It’s a reasonable price and I like being able to take a buddy sometimes.The staff are nice and there are plenty of machines even when it’s busy. It feels non threatening and I feel comfortable going on my own.
A massive 24/7 hours gym in Hull. Very neat , especially the toilet unlike most pure gyms and some other gyms I have used where the toilet is in the changing room making the changing room area stink. I hope they maintain the clean culture because it's quite important that people work out in a clean environment. They have lots of equipment and even on busy days, they are always available to be used. Staff are quite helpful and friendly which makes the environment quite relaxing.
I’ve been a member for 6 months now and have been having the best time working out with my friends. Since joining I have lost 2 and a half stone through various engaging, fun and challenging classes. All of the PTs are approachable and make the sessions fun, a shout out to Katie and Lisa especially. I’m looking forward to continue pushing myself even further!
Never thought I'd buy into a commercial gym membership but I tried puregym and I love it. Pros: cleaners do an awesome job, its always clean. Good Variety of machines. Majority of members put their weights back. Good temperature for training. No egos. Nice staff. If something breaks its quickly repaired. Cons: music seems to be non descript. Almost like AI generated. I've never heard any of it before and it's not suited to working out. Its mostly lounge and chilled house. Not many cleaning stations around. If you want to wipe a machine down you have to go hunting for some spray and a whipe. When it gets busy some machines are hard to get on but easy just to adapt and find something else. Or offer to share your machine if someone's waiting. Last one: could do with some smaller fixed bars for the cable machines, everything swivels which is a little annoying. Overall for £21 a month and 24hrs I'm well happy.
Just recently joined and am thoroughly enjoying it. Lisa is amazing with the step classes. Will definitely be trying out other classes she does too.
