Just wanted to give my thanks to Kerry, she had lovely customer service and was able to have a laugh too. She kindly pointed out an offer that was on including a free chain with the purchase of a bracelet so I’m really happy I came in!!

Absolute scammers, they said the jewellery I bought was a “Platinum Plated” Tennis Chain and they said nothing will happen to it. I even got a free tennis bracelet as a gift! Wow obviously it is so fake that I get another fake piece of jewellery as a gift. I started wearing it (not even everyday) and it started going brown and the silver colour was coming off. Couple months later I found the stuff I bought on aliexpress which obviously just tells me that it was fake, avoid at all costs because they literally sell FAKE JEWELLERY ! I don’t know how this shop is still running as I even saw other reviews saying the same things that happened to me.

I never ewrite reviews but this one had to be done. I have never read reviews on Warren James Wakefield as I have shopped here for several years but I have it seems there is plenty in the same boat as me. I have never once in the 5+ years of shopping here returned or exchanged an item but yesterday I needed to my partner purchased a ring for me on the 20th of December as dated on the receipt (for christmas) he gave it me on the 25th but I already have this ring and also in a smaller size so I tried it on and knew it was the same one. So on the 27th of December we took it back in the gift box we paid for, the cover and the gift bag with the receipt. Prior to ,the woman serving, even looking at the ring she said you can return it if it hasn’t been worn I said that’s fine so she picked it up and immediately said we can’t do a refund or exchange as it is scratched! We explainedere’s no way it could have been scratched and showed her I had the exact ring on my finger now I already own the ring why would I wear it? She went to he back to speak to someone and come back and said yes management says it’s scratched too and went on to try and show me the scratches which I honestly could not see anything she was talking about. I could go into further detail but in effect this shop does not accept returns because I have never worn this for longer than 10 seconds and now we are out of pocket and down a Christmas present for myself. This could have quite clearly been sold to us like this as we knew what we wanted with a picture when we went in they got out the display model confirmed it was that then boxed up the size we asked for. There was no scratches at all this company just didn’t want to refund their money. Which is fine because you have lost 2 loyal customers that will never purchase from you again, what an awful shame!

Bought a gold chain and within a month it broke without touching it near the clasp. They readily swapped it. So long as you say you dont sleep in it. The next one broke again in exactly the same place. They were not happy to swap it as id said id slept in it. That within 2 and half weeks the chain had stretched by an inch and half. Despited my other chain id bought from original jewellers that had lasted me 10 years with sleeping and showering in it, swimming in it and never took it off. Eventually they did swap it for another one.

Never purchased anything from warren james before but my partner bought me a chain, braclet, and ring for christmas it came as a set i never wore the ring as couldnt get it on my finger went to ask if it was possible for another size to be told there is scratches on it so we can't resell it . what annoys me is the scratches didnt come from me as the ring wouldnt fit my finger.!
