Went to buy a bottle of wine. The sticker on the bottle said £6:99. Took the bottle next to it (same wine, no price sticker) to the till. Assistant scanned it and asked for £7:95. I told her the same bottle was £6:99 but she demanded £7:95. I put the bottle back on the shelf and took the price marked one to the till. She scanned it and said £7:95. When I showed her the price sticker she changed the amount on the till to £6:99. I asked how many more items were wrongly priced but she ignored me. I asked to see the owner but was told she was out. I asked for the shop phone number but was told there wasn't one. I asked for a mobile number but was told she didn't have one. I have spoken to several people and overcharging seems to be a very common occurrence in this shop. I have contacted Nisa and explained what happened. I was told that someone will visit the shop and speak to the owner. I doubt that will happen. Very very disappointed. I will not be going there again.
Nice staff member at the till so I was pleasantly surprised. However as soon as I left the shop a bunch of hooligans decided to hurl racist abuse so I won’t be visiting this area again (exactly what they want). But aside from that the service was great in store. However the area obviously attracts a lot of anti social behaviour
The rudest shop owner you could wish to meet. Asked her where something in the store was and with a mouth full of food she grunted and pointed in the general direction . Went to pay with debit card and she then went into a tirade about there being a £5 minimum charge. Very ignorant with zero customer service skills , avoid like the plague !
Woman serving scoffed and laughed in my face when I asked a genuine question during my first experience using Evri return with a QR code. I didn't understand the process, there was no need to be so rude in response.
Very well stocked shop . Lots of good choices and also a handy cash machine inside…..👍 Only problem is the elderly lady always seems so unhappy in her work… Bless her ……..
