Walked up to my room corridor was thick with cigarette smoke and on exiting my room someone in the room next door smoking cannabis, receptions response was thats a shame. The room itself there was tobacco all over the bed (I dont smoke) hair in the bath and dirt on the shower curtain. The floor had not been hoover as there were bits of food dotted around. Breakfast was terrible bread rock hard and the cooked breakfast looked like it had been there a week. I am aware the pub next door is nothing to do with them but id avoid there too! Thankfully I was only there for 11 hours and will never return!
Nice and cozy. The only thing I hate is slow internet, which is just awful. Otherwise, everything is comfy. The rooms don't creak and have a modern minimalist vibe. I always enjoy high quality sleep during my stays at Premier inn. Highly recommended! 💕
Booked online a couple of months in advance for an event, check-in was a bit weird, although the person at the frontdesk was polite, didn't realise they have to ask for nationality of their guests!? Car park is spacious and secure. Had to change rooms, because we were given an unsatisfactory one initially, but that was done quick and seamless. Breakfast and all the ladies attending the area are awesome! Bar the fire alarm setting off a few too many times at random times of night, everything else was really ok. The only niggle and not sure if all rooms, the shower is a fixed overhead, so be mindful of that.
We use the Leeds East hotel regularly but our visit this weekend was a really great experience. Young man on reception was very welcoming and professional. A special mention to the lady who put some treats in my daughters room as she heard it was my granddaughters 2nd birthday. What a lovely touch. And finally the lady in the breakfast room who was so lovely with my young granddaughters giving them a chocolate biscuit and a balloon each. This service was really welcomed so thankyou all and apologies I didn’t get names of the people who really made a difference.
I had a lovely stay here, if I had an issue a member of staff called Sharon made sure our issue was resolved. I didn't get food at this restaurant so I can't comment on how good the food was. The room was nice and clean and had a good night sleep each time. If you just want a nice clean room and a place you just want to sleep this is perfect. You get the option to use a lift to get up to the floor you want, however I must mention on EVERY floor, it has sets of stairs that randomly go down to the hall way of where your room is. Very annoying if you have a few suitcases or someone who has mobility issues or have a wheel chair. There's no way round this, you have to use a set of stairs to get to your room. I'm not sure why it's been designed like this but maybe not the best place for someone who struggles with stairs.
